Our Story
For nearly 20 years, I have been creating dog nose protectors with one goal in mind: helping dogs get the protection they need. I understand how important your dog is to you. That’s why I have spent years working on a product designed with dogs and their needs in mind.
My dog was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus in 2007. His nose slowly turned from black to pink and began developing painful sores that would bleed, even from a small scratch. Our veterinarian recommended medication and sunscreen, but he would lick the sunscreen off, and his nose continued to get worse. I knew I had to find another way to help him, so I created a nose protector to use when he went outside in the sun. He still needed protection from the sun, but the nose protector made a big difference in his life. At first, he wasn't sure about wearing it, but he soon got used to it and seemed comfortable. Seeing what it did for my own dog inspired me to share this product with other dog owners. That is how my journey began, and I have continued creating dog nose protectors for nearly 20 years.
